Description

In the early 1900s neither African Americans nor Mexican Americans could live in the community of Pflugerville. So a man named La Rue Noton put aside an acre of his land west of the community & sold lots to folks for $50 each. They called this area Pflugerville's Colored Addition. The only sign in the cemetery says, "Russell's Place To Rest". It is located next to another cemetery known as Santa Maria Cemetery. They are two separate cemeteries, each fenced off separately with different materials.
